You launched your website and now you’re ready to start advertising to get new clients on board.
If you have the knowledge to do it on your own, great.
If not, you will probably search for a freelancer or agency who is good with paid ads.
It may take some time to find it but when you do you are will need to share access to your social media channels, ad accounts and Facebook pixel.
If you don’t know, Facebook pixel is a tool that helps you track your users journey and their actions on your website.
When Facebook pixel get enough information about certain actions, this gives you the abillity to create new look-a-like audiences based on your previous website visitors, newsletter subscribers, buyers, and others.
To cut the story short – if you sell 50 products n your website, you’d want your ads to show to similar people that already bought your products, right?
Facebook pixel enables you that.
How to share your Facebook pixel with an agency
You’ll need to have Facebook Business Manager to be able to do that.
Log into you Facebook Business Manager account and head over to Business settings.
You’ll see a sidebar on the left.
Click on Data Sources and then Pixels.
Here you can access all of pixels that are assigned to your Facebok Business Manager.
Click on the Facebook pixel you want to share and then click Assign Partner.
Now remember – you will only be able to assign a partner if you own this pixel.
A new pop up window will open.
Here you’ll need to insert your partner’s business ID.
You can give your partner only permission to view pixel or to manage it.
If you plan to work with this agency on a long-term I sugget you give them “Manage pixel” permission.
Where to find your business ID
If your parner is a serius agency, they will definitely know where to find their business ID.
Just in case you or them won’t know, here’s a quick guide below.
Scroll down in the left sidebar and click on Business Info.
Once clicked, you’ll see your business ID at the top of the new section.
Simply copy it and share it with your partners.
