Facebook is a great channel for generating new leads.
It offers you to collect leads through your website’s opt-in form or directly on Facebook.
Setting up on-Facebook subscribe form is simple and requires only a few steps.
Of course you need to set up the right targeting audience, but that’s pretty much it.
But many of you don’t know where to find and download leads once campaign is launched.
But what if I tell you you don’t need to download leads from Facebook and import them manually to your email marketing service provider?
Sync Facebook lead ads in 3 steps
It’s really easy.
Go to your Facebook page (I used my beglobal agency‘s here).
Point your mouse to More on the toolbar at the top and click Publishing tools.
This is where you can see drafts, scheduled posts, see your video library, access different tools and much more.
You should go through it one time. But right now we want to sync our Facebook lead ad with our email marketing service.
At the bottom in the left sidebar you’ll see Lead Ads Forms section.
This is where you can access and download leads from all of yours ads.
Click on Leads setup.
Now the fun begins.
First you need to choose your CRM provider.
For those who are unfamiliar with this phrase, CRM means Customer Relationship Manager.
Email marketing service providers also have CRMs, so here you’ll choose the tool you’re using.
At our agency we use Mailerlite, so we’ll type in Mailerlite.
You can’t connected Facebook Leads directly with Mailerlite or Mailchimp, that’s when Zapier comes in handy.
It actualy creates string between Facebook lead ads and email marketing tool you are using.
Once you click connect you’ll need to choose Mailerlite account (or Mailchimp or any other email marketing tool).
Be careful you select the right one if you are using multiple accounts.
Once you select the account you need to choose which subscriber group you want new leads to sync to.
Once selected, you just click Turn on Zap and you’re good to go.
Your new leads from Facebook ads will now be syncing directly to your subsciber group, meaning you won’t lose time manually downloading them and importing them to yor favourite email marketing tool.
This works best if you have marketing automation on so each new lead will be getting the first email from automation the second they subscribe.
